On June 6, 2019, the 2019 Huaihe Ecological Economic Zone City and the “Belt and Road” National Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar was held in Handan City, Anhui Province. Sang Baichuan, Dean of the Institute of International Economics of the University of International Business and Economics and Dean of the China Free Trade Zone Strategy Institute, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech. The seminar was based on the theme of “Building a “One Belt, One Road” Economic and Trade Cooperation Platform Based on the Huaihe River Ecological Economic Belt”. 39 foreign guests from 26 countries and government leaders and entrepreneurs from 9 cities in the Huaihe River Basin participated in the conference to jointly explore the Huai River Basin cities with a more open mind, a broader vision, and more pragmatic measures. Better service, interoperability and integration into the “Belt and Road” development.
