From November 8 to 10, 2019 member's Congress of Consumer Economy Society (China) and the 22nd National Seminar on Consumer Economy Theory and Practice were successfully held in Quanzhou. The theme of this year's conference is "Seventy Years of New China: Consumption and High-quality Economic Development". It is sponsored by the Society of Consumer Economics (China) and undertaken by the School of Economics and Finance of Huaqiao University. Professor Hu Ruochi of our institute was invited to attend this meeting, and was elected as the deputy Secretary-General of the second Council of China Consumer Economy Society, the deputy director of the academic Committee, and the executive director. As the moderator of the sub-forum "emerging consumption and hot issues of consumption" seminar, he made a summary report to the conference on the discussion content of the sub-forum.
